Argyrosomus regius (also known as meagre, croaker, jewfish, shade-fish, corvina, salmon-bass or stone bass) is a fish of the family Sciaenidae. It has a similar form to a European seabass, with a pearly-silver coloration and a yellow-coloured mouth.
