BATASIOLO

We have written the History of Piedmontese wines

The farms are all located in the precious Barolo area: Batasiolo, Morino, Cerequio and Brunate in La Morra; Boscareto and the historic Briccolina in Serralunga d'Alba; Bricco di Vergne and Zonchetta in Barolo; Tantesi and Bussia Bofani in Monforte d'Alba.
The Dogliani brothers then decided to give a new name to these properties and took their cue from the Batasiolo vineyard where the nucleus of the winery is located. It was in this way that Beni di Batasiolo was born, the new winery wrapped in the soft lines of the vineyard of the same name.
In the ancient local dialect the word "property" identifies the possession, the estate. The relationship of symbiosis between man and earth comes from times when poverty tied the seasons to one another and the only true good for the farmer could only be the farm, both in a material and affective sense . The name Beni di Batasiolo contains a way of being ancient in these parts, an inseparable link between the farmer and his vineyard. You will never understand the essence of the Beni di Batasiolo without admiring the expanses of its vineyards in the most precious and important towns of the Langhe.
Batasiolo, a winery that in addition to having all its own vineyards in the heart of a land known especially for its great red wines, the Langhe, produces all the most celebrated wines of this region such as Barolo, Barbaresco, Barbera d'Alba Sovereign and Dolcetto d'Alba Bricco di Vergne, but also great white wines such as Moscato d'Asti Bosc dla Rei, Langhe Chardonnay Morino and Gavi of the Municipality of Gavi. This elegant range is completed by the elegant vintage Batasiolo Metodo Classico and the exclusive Muscatel Passito Muscatel Tardì.
Barolo is the emblem of winery production, the real spearhead, and Beni di Batasiolo is proud to present as many as five different Crus from the privileged hills of Monforte, Serralunga and La Morra: Barolo Bussia Vigneto Bofani, Barolo Boscareto, Barolo Cerequio, Barolo Brunate and the award-winning Barolo Briccolina.
